Christen Smiley, known as “The DEI Publicist”, is the visionary Founder & Chief Equity Strategist and Communications Architect of Lunar Works Consulting, where she masterfully blends a decade of experience in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) strategy with an equally rich background in public relations and communications. Her innovative approach towards DEI strategy and initiatives, ensures they are communicated effectively to foster environments of understanding and equity. Christen’s strategies have set new inclusivity and equity standards - leveraging storytelling to promote change and welcome dialogue. As a thought leader, she contributes her insights into creating inclusive and equitable cultures across various platforms.
Christen’s academic achievements include a Master’s Degree in Global Strategic Communications from Florida International University and a Bachelor’s in Public Relations from Florida A&M University (FAMU). Christen continues to guide organizations towards embracing DEI as fundamental to the well-being and success of their employees and their business.
